Life Science Outsourcing, Inc (LSO) is a contract manufacturer of medical devices with in-built capabilities to offer clients full-service solutions through our six divisions. Clients rely on LSO to perform all activities required to introduce their products to market, from sourcing to drop shipping.
In January of 2021 LSO has partnered with PPC Enterprises(www.ppcenterprises.com), a leading private equity firm based out of New York to expand LSO’s geographic reach in the medical device arena. Due to the recent acquisition and 24 years of growth, we are currently seeking a self-motivated QC Inspection Supervisor with a good positive energy to join our team. In this role you will be responsible for the overall Quality Control Inspection Activities.
The QC Inspection Supervisor plays a significant and strategic role in the success of LSO and reports directly to the Director of Quality.

Job Description
- Oversee all Quality Control Inspector staff to ensure completeness and accuracy of duties.
- Ensure that all material received is in compliance with all appropriate documents, policies and is delivered to the appropriate locations.
- Utilizes written inspection procedures, drawings, specification sheets, and first article samples during inspection. Inspection may require training and use of various inspection equipment, tools, fixtures, and measuring instruments.
- Ability to use micrometer, caliper, multimeter, thread gauge, tensile test, vision system, optical comparator.
- Completes, maintains and distributes appropriate Quality records and documentation. Communicates directly with manufacturing, material control and management personnel.
- Ensures that all nonconforming material is handled in accordance with appropriate procedures and Documents.
- Controls access to the nonconforming material quarantine area.
Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Five years assembly and QC experience
- Two years of supervisory experience.
- Previous experience in medical device manufacturing/assembly operations is desirable.
- Experience working in a clean room environment is a plus.
- Requires the ability to communicate effectively, written and verbal as well as good people skills.

Salary info:
