As a Project Manager you’ll be responsible for multiple long-term delivery projects for hydrographic survey packages which include custom integration of KM and 3rd party equipment. You will be the primary point of contact for customers during the life of their projects and will guide them through the planning and execution of installations and upgrades.

You’ll work alongside a team of down-to-earth colleagues who are just as dedicated and ambitious as you are in their respective areas of expertise. The Project Manager will be based at Kongsberg’s Lynnwood, WA office.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Monitor delivery times and costs
• Continuously monitor and problem solve
• Coordinate internal engineers and outsourced resources in the yard and workshop
• Report any risks to HSE management and/or Head of Project Management
• Prepare and host quarterly/semi-annual program status review meetings w/ customers and their contractors
• Maintain configuration management documentation for customer installations
• Track and follow up on trial cards, customer repairs and service cases
• Visit customer facilities and ships for meetings, technical assistance, acceptance testing and training requirements associated with assigned projects
• Provide technical support for bids and proposals as needed

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s Degree in engineering
• At least 4 years of progressive project management experience with the ability to understand and drive highly diversified tasks and resources (PMP preferred)
• Excellent knowledge of various technical specifications; Scope of Delivery
• Multibeam survey experience (preferred)
• Working knowledge of FARS and DFARS (preferred)
• Experience working with US government contracting officers (preferred)
• Knowledge of Kongsberg Maritime’s worldwide organization, products, deliveries, and customers is a big plus
• Ability to travel up to 30% of the time

$90-125k
