Responsibilities:
  • Receives project assignments from Account Manager
  • Manages lighting or electrical project work order from start to finish using all available systems, including but not limited to the ERP, Trackers and 3rd Party Customer Required sites
  • Manages site audit data; enter and prepare Proposal and/or ROI Documentation.
  • Communicates and/or escalates customer concerns as necessary
  • Utilizes ERP and our Field Partner Management Group (FPMG) when necessary to help vet, find, and assign field partners
  • Collaborates with Specifications Team (SPEC) to ensure appropriate costs and budgets are assigned to each lighting work order
  • Collaborates with the Rebates Team to ensure all data points are submitted to the utilities to secure rebates for our customers
  • Obtains and logs all work order related information including but not limited to surveys, drawings, customer approval, emails and other
  • Communicates work order status to manager or directly to customer, depending on customer requirements
  • Attend and/or lead customer conference calls or meetings as assigned by manager.
  • Manages project through successful completion as defined by manager and/or customer
  • Completes work order close out on a regular basis and submits invoice to customer with all required documents
  • Manages project budget at or above required Gross Profit Margin guidelines and within proposed timeline
  • Identifying and mitigating potential risks
  • Performing quality control on the program throughout development to maintain the standards expected
  • Making effective decisions when presented with multiple options for how to progress with the program
  • Quickly resolves project issues using out of the box thinking to avoid unnecessary costs and/or changes to project timeline
  • Creates and sends invoices and completion documents to the customer
  • Creates and enforces scopes of work and rules of engagement for field partners to work from to ensure project success
Additional Duties
  • Ensures all invoicing for Purchase Orders directly related to work orders are received and processed, including but not limited to: Material Orders, Surveys, Installation, etc.
  • Communicates in a clear and professional manner, both verbally and written.
  • Issue Purchase Orders for all project related costs including but not limited to: material distributors, field partners, and vendors (equipment rentals, dumpster rentals, storage, etc.).
  • Handle multiple work orders simultaneously.
  • Consistent reporting of project status to all pertinent parties including but not limited to - site location managers, vendors, management and customer corporate contacts.
  • General project support as needed.
  • Travel to client offices or project sites as needed.
Qualifications:
Skills
  • Computer Skills – Microsoft Project, Microsoft Office Suite (Access, Excel (Advanced Preferred – V-lookup & Pivot Tables), PowerPoint, Project, Word), ERP
  • Ability to prioritize jobs based on urgency, customer expectations, importance
  • Ability to maintain calm and focused under strict deadline and multi-tasking environments
  • Customer service skills
  • Organization and planning skills – written & verbal

  • Lighting Knowledge is preferred, but not required

Education, experience, certifications
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • 1-3 years’ project management experience preferred
Physical and mental demands
  • Ability to work in a strict deadline driven environment
  • Ability to complete all tasks associated with site audits
  • Position may require working before or after regularly scheduled hours as business needs arise
