What does a successful Professional Services Sr Professional do at Fiserv?

The Senior Business Implementation Consultant will provide in-depth analysis, consultation and recommendations to clients during deployment of Fiserv Deposit Liquidity products in order to ensure clients’ business needs are met. The right candidate will work closely with clients and internal stakeholders to ensure delivery and implementations and provide solutions to address the clients’ business needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ability to interact with the client from a business requirements perspective.
• Understanding of Retail Banking/Deposit Operations
• Manage data file integration
  • Own and capture input file mapping requirements for batch files
  • Test Input file for accuracy of data mapping and content
  • Elicit, validate and prioritize client business requirements
• Assist with testing and validating configurations
• Work with the project team to help investigate and resolve testing problems given the established business requirements and severity level.
• Document all business requirements and process information for all implementations as needed.
• Liaise closely with Product and Development teams to provide input and receive continual training.
• Work with project team on functional components of the implementation project including product development, configuration and testing
• Perform other duties as required.

• Experience in adhering to or improving procedures and processes required for the effective implementation of projects

• Proven ability to work under significant project pressure and meet internal and external deadlines.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced high-energy environment with strong personal composure and crisis-management skills

• Ability to summarize and document issues, projects, protocols and processes.

Qualifications:

• Strong background in business analysis and implementation within a financial/banking environment
• Experience with query language, with a focus on SQL
• Strong skills with Microsoft suite of business products, especially Excel
• Experience with large scope projects with many moving parts and interdependencies
• Experience with large scale change efforts and change management
• Experience with matrix management of cross-functional processes and teams
• Knowledge of project management methods
• Travel up to 20%
