Experience and Skills Required:

· 10 years of manufacturing experience, preferably in the aerospace / defense industry

· 5 plus years of Manufacture supervisory experience required.

· Must demonstrate people management skills.

· VSM (Value Stream Mapping) experience of production hardware.

· 5S experience is required.

· Machining, Painting, Sheet Metal, and Welding skills beneficial.

· Effective in dealing with multiple priorities and simultaneous projects.

· Must have knowledge of basic math and analytical skills.

· Must be able to read blueprints and have knowledge of GD&T.

· Must be able to understand customer specifications and AS9100 specifications.

· Demonstrate good written and verbal communication skills.

· Demonstrate experience in a demanding fast-paced environment.

· Must possess problem solving, leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.

· Computer and software proficiency including MS Office applications.

· Working knowledge with ERP systems, IFS a plus.

· All task directions and work directives will be provided in English. Employees engaged in work efforts or project will be expected to communicate in English.

· Must have a US citizenship or green card to be an employee at Shapes.

· Prioritize work as communicated by the Operations Manager and Planning Department.

Required General Responsibilities:

· Ensure all members of the team are aware of safety policies to provide a safe workplace for our employees.

· Ensure production is completed with established safety, quality, and production standards.

· Support root cause and corrective action for all non-conforming material internal manufactured parts at Shapes facility.

· Ensure employees adhere to company policies and procedures.

· Oversee the day-to-day shop schedule.

· Work closely with other departments to ensure on time delivery.

· Satisfies internal and external customer and supplier needs.

· Manage the employee daily schedules, shop clocking’s, time clocking’s, efficiencies and reconcile each week.

· Assure daily maintenance activities are being performed on all machines.

· Work with Maintenance to resolve equipment problems.

· Maintain work area in accordance with 5S system.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $61,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
