Our eCommerce client has asked Pomeroy to assist in identifying a Production Manufacturing Operations Manager. The ideal candidate will have prior management & manufacturing experience.

DAY TO DAY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Manage overall Production environment, helping grow and foster a safe working environment with an emphasis on producing quality products.
• Ensure all safety and health standards are met to keep the organization accident free
• Track and report Production performance and progress.
• Work to increase productivity and reduce costs of the manufacturing operation
• Develop workflow policies and procedures that improve efficiency without compromising safety or quality
• Manage outside contractors in conjunction with the production supervisor to add additional production capabilities
• Ensure adequate scheduling and staffing to minimize back orders and maximize in stock availability
• Coach, counsel, and lead production staff and provide development plans for current leaders

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 2+ years in Managing Production environments or being in a team lead role.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Quality certifications preferred
• Strong understanding of communications and electronics equipment and principles.
• Strong background in leading a team and fostering a leadership development plan for direct reports.
• Open to travel twice a year to trade shows

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $90,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Monday to Friday

Experience:

• Manufacturing: 2 years (Required)

License/Certification:
