Job description

The position is responsible for the daily mechanical operations of production. This is a full time position at our Brazil Truss Plant; although travel to other Timberland locations is required on occasion. Being bilingual is helpful, but not required. Occasional weekend and evening availability required.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Perform maintenance with issues being mechanical, hydraulic, electronical
• Lead role in design as the design upgrades projects
• Act as subject matter expert for key production processes & equipment
• Partner with production team leaders to meet targets
• Dismantle, repair & reassemble equipment
• Monitor condition of equipment
• Maintain a clean & safe environment
• Diagnose faults in equipment
• Provide set-up & troubleshooting on new equipment as directed

Requirements & Skills:

• Proven experience working in a maintenance role in a production facility
• 3-5 years in mechanical environment preferred
• Problem solving & conflict resolution attributes
• Good time management & analytical skills

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
• Ability to sit, walk, move around for long periods
• Good vision is required
• Work in and outdoors
