The Location: Vital is conveniently located in the heart of Uptown Minneapolis. Our location is in a great area for getting lunch, is steps from public transportation and the experience of working in the city.

The Position: We’re looking for someone interested in learning about print, ideally with a background in customer service or administration. We’re looking for a jack-of-all trades, eager to adapt to the ever-changing environment of a small print shop. While the bulk of your work will be in customer service & order support, a successful candidate will be flexible and willing to learn about administration, print and production.

The position pays $18/hour and is available immediately

We offer PTO, a variety of work experiences, and on the job training.

~40 hours between 10:00 – 6:00 PM Monday-Friday, no weekend hours

Responsibilities: The main function of this role is to work with customers over the phone, email, and in person to provide fast, quality solutions for their printing needs.

• Provide excellent customer service, effectively communicating with customers to determine the correct print & graphic solutions for their vision.

• Work as part of a team, communicating with the prepress and production teams to ensure a smooth daily operation.

• Work with Photoshop, Illustrator and other design programs for proofing and prepress work..

Requirements:

• Detail-oriented, organized, and responsible

• Effective communicator, with the ability to build relationships with customers and staff. You will speak with customers every day on the phone and in person, so a genuine enjoyment for meeting new people is a must.

• A team player who wants to succeed with their coworkers.

• A hard worker excited to learn a lot and contribute to Vital’s growth.

Prefer:

• Knowledge of design software is preferred, but we will train. Software includes Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, etc), Corel Suite, etc.
