Job description

The Plant Manager has direct responsibility for all plant and quarry related aspects at the site including Safety, Environmental, Operations, Quality, HR, and community relations.

The Plant Manager is an operational professional who understands the value of planning and processes and takes a disciplined approach to execution. The position works closely and collaboratively with the Materials Manager, Operations, Maintenance, Safety/Environmental, Sales, and Finance.

Minimum Qualifications: - 3-5 years’ experience in Aggregates or Mining.

Previous supervisory experience - High level understanding of MSHA rules and regulations - Proficiency with Excel and Word - Knowledge of processing methods and planning techniques - Strong blasting expertise - Must be able to troubleshoot by using strong analytical skills - Must be able to successfully analyze and interpret general business documents, technical procedures, and governmental regulations as they pertain to operations.
