JOB DESCRIPTION
Teacher Aides work with special education students, take direction from a Special Education Classroom Teacher and assist elementary, middle, or high school special needs students in a class of approximately 8 to 12 with autism, learning disabilities, or other health impairments during the school day.

EXPERIENCE
Applicants must have experience working or volunteering with children, such as babysitting or helping in classrooms.

WORK DAY OPTIONS
Number of Days Per Week: 2 to 5 (preferred: 5 days per week)
Work Days: M-F
Hours Per Day: 5 to 5.75 (during school hours, such as 8:00am to 1:00pm)

HOURLY RATE
$19

PAID MILEAGE
Strategic Kids pays Paraprofessional Educators driving more than 15 miles one way from home to the assigned school.

SUMMER WORK
After finishing the school year in June, there will be opportunities to work summer school, from Teacher Aide jobs to Enrichment Instructor positions (Chess, LEGO, Origami, Magic, Cartooning, Sports, etc.) throughout Orange County.
