Location Description:
Michael Foods, Inc. located in the Village of Lansing, Illinois is just 25 minutes from downtown Chicago! It is located in an area locals refer to as 'The Southland', due to its proximity to Chicago and all it has to offer! Our plant location pasteurizes raw eggs to remove harmful bacteria for a more safe product to the foodservice industry.
Responsibilities:
This position is responsible to efficiently run and operate the packing machine, while ensuring that all product is meeting quality standards.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Checks in-coming eggs quality.
- Follows the proper SOP’s (Standard Operating Procedures).
- Monitors the Packaging Machine
- Makes sure that the flats are level and the eggs are being dropped into the correct position.
- Inspects “P” stamper to ensure its properly cleaned,
- Must be able to measure ink level on containers, and fill when necessary.
- Keeps all of the machines and “P” stamps running efficiently
- Maintain optimal stamp and imprint quality
- Makes sure that all of the material is kept separated, neat, and stored properly with the correct labels.
Manufacturing experience preferred.
