Job description

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Ensure smooth and timely freight process flow
• Ensure accurate and timely data entry into our operating system
• Track and trace shipments to provide updates for required parties
• Ensure timely movement and delivery of freight to customers
• Ensure documents are timely sent to customer or broker for customs purposes
• Interact with our customers in arranging their shipments and invoicing
• Maintain relationships with suppliers (steamship lines, trucking companies, etc..)
• Overseas communications, timely responses to emails and requests (internal and external)

SCHEDULE:

• 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM
• Monday - Friday

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 6 months experience in Ocean Import operations
• Pro-active, strong organizational skills
• Strong desire to learn
• Basic computer skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)

Pay: $21.00 - $25.00 per hour
