The yearlong CNA Apprenticeship provides you with state-required instruction, a paid stipend, and career support to help you master the skills you need to become a CNA.

Licensed CNAs earn $19+/hr base pay with opportunity for advancement. Apprentices will start working full-time CNA shifts after successful completion of training, which includes a paid stipend.

Position Description

A certified nursing assistant, or CNA, is a licensed professional who assists clients with daily activities like bathing, eating, and transporting themselves. This work has a lasting impact on a client’s physical health, mental well-being, and overall independence.

By joining the CNA Apprenticeship you’ll receive the training and support you need to start your career as a CNA at a skilled nursing facility near you, as well as mentorship to help you advance in the long-term care profession. Learn alongside other apprentices and get hands-on experience in a guided learning environment.

This registered, yearlong apprenticeship is available at no out-of-pocket cost to you and includes:

• Paid stipend
• State-required instruction
• Wraparound career support
• On-the-job training
• 1-on-1 Career Coach mentorship
• Job placement

Progression through the yearlong apprenticeship:

• 3-5 weeks of online & in person training
• 2 weeks of in-person, hands-on training, shadowing a CNA
• Full-time employment as a Nursing Assistant until successfully passing Oregon State Board of Nursing CNA licensing exam
• Full-time employment at a long-term care facility as a CNA for the remainder of the year
• CNA shifts will include weekends
• Shifts are usually 6am-2pm, 2pm-10pm, or 10pm-6am
