What You'll Do:
Provide evidenced-based care inclusive of accurate assessment, diagnosis, treatment, management of health problems, health counseling- Conduct various outpatient procedures such as suturing, incision and drainage, ear irrigation, EKG
- Perform initial and follow-up evaluations
- Order and evaluate x-rays, MRIs and CTs
- Document office encounter notes
- Prescribe medications appropriately and manage prescription refill requests Respond to patient phone calls to facilitate patient care delivery
- Educate patients and families on diagnosis, treatment, and prevention
- Complete all necessary paperwork for billing of services.
What You'll Need:
- Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program with board certification (ANCC/AANP)
- Current license to practice as a Nurse Practitioner by the New York State Department of Education
- Knowledge of EMR
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in Emergency medicine, Primary care or Urgent Care
- Active DEA, NPI
- BLS/ACLS Certification
- Fluency in Mandarin, Cantonese, or Fuzhounese required
