In the Technical Services practice we work for the big international companies in a wide variety of branches and different technological challenges. We have an Agile philosophy and so do our clients, so you will be working in Scrum teams or DevOps teams. Depending on the assignment you will be working at the customer location, the Atos Office (in Amstelveen, Eindhoven or Groningen) or remote from your home office.

The role
As a Network engineer, you will design, build and lead complex network infrastructure environments. Most clients have hybrid environments, with on premise servers and cloud. You will be part of migration-to-the-cloud projects, because you understand both worlds. Your focus is on continuous improvement and automation, using state of the art scripting languages and tooling. Working in an Agile/Scrum or DevOps team is nothing new for you anymore.

You see yourself as a real technologist. Your passion for technology means you love to experiment, you’re curious for new developments, you are analytical so you love to solve problems. You’re a fast learner and self-supporting, but you’re also a great teammate, easy-going and communicative. You quickly understand the needs of your client and connect easily with him/her.
Besides your personal skills and passion for technology, we have a few must have requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in ICT;
Certifications in Cisco (CCNA/CCNP), VMware NSX;
Hands-on experience (minimum of 3 years) in network management (routing&switching, firewalls, load balancing), improving and automating, advising on changes and innovations;
Experience in most of these: Juniper, Palo Alto, F5/BIG-IP, Ansible, Python, cloud (like Azure, Google, AWS);
Experience in network and security: firewalls, authentication, vulnerabilities etc.
Experience with Agile working (Scrum/SAFe/DevOps) and CI/CD;
You are currently living in The Netherlands and have good knowledge of the Dutch and English language, both written and verbal.
