In recent years, the IT department has grown significantly. As a Network / Security Administrator, you will work together with an experienced System/Network Specialist. In addition, the team includes two skilled support colleagues, a change manager, a project manager, ERP specialists and a business intelligence specialist.

Functieomschrijving

As a Network / Security administrator you may pick up various tasks in this organization, ICT infrastructure related. It involves a combination of management, support (2nd/3rd line) and projects.

You will focus on the following activities:

• Managing the ICT infrastructure and network environment;
• Setting up firewall;
• Monitoring and optimizing network connections;
• Managing storage and backup;
• Picking up tasks related to (cyber) security;
• Resolving 2nd and 3rd line incidents;
• Participating in various projects: think of projects in the field of security and cloud projects (Azure). There are 60 IT projects in the pipeline. Development in the field of IT is considered important;
• Advising the organization with your expertise and thinking along about improving the environment.

This is an environment with its own data centers and is increasingly looking at cloud solutions and how to move to Azure in the future.

It also works with Aruba appliances, WAN, WLAN, Office365, Exchange Online and Veeam.

Functie-eisen

• You have extensive experience in the field of IT networking;
• You have experience in setting up firewalls;
• You enjoy taking on a broad role where, in addition to network management/networking projects, you also take on tasks in the area of server-/storage-/security management;
• You feel at home in an informal organization where the following characteristics apply: being involved, open, hard-working, love to get things done.
