We are looking for an individual who is capable of providing top-notch customer service. This position is responsible for interacting with guests in a healthcare setting and managing administrative tasks for the clinical staff. Individuals should be well-organized, have a friendly and outgoing demeanor and should also possess the ability to multitask effectively. Some Office Support responsibilities include, but are not limited to, scheduling client appointments according to the Provider’s availability, explaining intake forms to new clients and processing payments after services rendered.

Administrative/Reception Duties

  • Maintains smooth operations within the front office area
  • Answers multi-line phone system
  • Greets client and processes of client’s paperwork including, but not limited to: company policies surrounding client, collection of out-of-pocket expenses, processing of all initial and continuing paperwork, scheduling and confirming of appointments including intake appointments, etc.
  • Prints reports as needed (i.e., clinician alerts, no show letter, etc.)
  • Coordinates mail, faxes, and record requests
  • Provides administrative support to clinicians as needed
  • Perform other duties as related to the Medical Records Office Support position as deemed appropriate by the Medical Records/Quality Assurance Supervisor

Medical Records Duties

  • Maintains records in compliance with laws and regulations
  • Maintains electronic client charts to include setup, uploading documents, updating paperwork and renewals, maintains the clinicians’ schedules
  • Maintains new assessment packets for outpatient therapy services offered at location
  • Prints various forms and reports needed in preparation for scheduled appointments
  • Assists providers with requests for medical records

Requirements

Must:

  • Hold a High School Diploma or GED equivalent; previous experience or education in medical/psychiatric office preferable
  • Be able to remain in a stationary position fifty percent (50 %) of scheduled day
  • Be able to operate basic office equipment, e.g., computer, telephone, copy/fax machine, printer, etc.
  • Be able to type up to 40 wpm with accuracy
  • Have experience working with an electronic medical record system
  • Be able to move and transport up to 20 pounds
  • Be detail-oriented
  • Be able to maintain a high level of confidentiality
  • Be able to work as part of a team and independently
  • Be able to work a flexible schedule
  • Be able to learn new skills and grow as the position entails
  • Have the ability to communicate or exchange information in an easy-to-understand manner
  • Have the ability to comprehend basic instructions and be oriented to the position
  • Possess good organizational and time management skills
  • Possess excellent customer service/interpersonal skills, both with the public and with co-workers
  • Possess good problem-solving skills and initiative

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 per hour
