The Metal Shop is hiring Warehouse Material Handlers in our Crystal River, Florida location.

This position is Monday through Friday from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm. This is a Forklift Operator experienced position with a starting hourly rate of $14.00 per hour. You must be able to pass a written / operational forklift test within the first two weeks. A performance evaluation will be conducted after 90 days.

Material Handlers will be responsible for off-loading incoming materials & staging outgoing orders for delivery along with moving pallets or raw materials and finished goods throughout the factory.

DUTIES:

• Reading material lists to fulfill orders.
• Picking & staging orders from storage shelves according to material lists.
• Securely strapping & shrink-wrapping items and placement on pallets.
• Lifting 50 lbs. unassisted, standing, walking, bending & twisting.
• Loading and unloading delivery trucks.
• Managing stock including replenishment and performing general warehouse duties.

QUALIFICATIONS INCLUDE:

• Knowledgeable in Inventory Control Processes.
• Forklift Driver Experience
• Fulfill and organize orders to ensure customer delivery process is efficient and accurate.
• Unloading / Receiving deliveries.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Maintaining a clean and efficient warehouse.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS INCLUDE:

• Must be physically able to stand, bend, climb, or kneel for extended periods of time.
• Ability to safely operate and maneuver Forklifts throughout the facility.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted and the ability to stand, bend and twist.
