Master Mold Maker
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide technical leadership to all mold group employees
- Independently operate & validate mold components form various types of machinery while maintaining tolerances
- Thorough understanding of quality manual and procedures
- Setting up & operating all manual equipment required for mold building application
- Consistently meet and/or exceed estimated times
- Perform all final fit and function operations to complete a successful mold build
- Determine root causes and problems discovered during mold sampling
- Optimize processes through continuous improvement efforts with no supervision
- Work with quality control and all l other departments for first piece qualifications
Qualifications/Skills:
Education:
- Required: High School diploma or GED equivalent
- Preferred: 15 years minimum experience of plastic mold building application and inspection techniques
Technical:
- Required: Must have your own set of personal tools related to mold making trade
- Required: Must have advanced knowledge of Plastic mold building application and inspection techniques
