Vision Research is a Business Unit in the Materials Analysis Division of AMETEK, Inc. Vision Research manufactures industry leading high-speed digital cameras. Our cameras are primarily sold into industrial, academic, defense and government research facilities. We also have a smaller entertainment oriented camera business. Although not our primary focus, Vision Research has received both an Academy Award and an Emmy for our technical contribution to the entertainment industry. Position Overview:
This role is responsible for designing, executing, analyzing and optimizing Vision Research’s Marketing Programs, both digital and traditional to increase web traffic, lead generation and overall awareness in Europe. The person will work closely with the European Sales Director, AMETEK marketing colleagues in the region and the Vision Research marketing team based in the US. This role will be responsible to actively influence, determine and execute marketing programs to drive growth in Europe. There will also be considerable interaction with Vision Research distributor partners in the region. Some local and international travel will be required.
Job Responsibilities:
- Works closely with the European sales team and sales partners to develop and implement plans that develop brand awareness, create demand and generate sales leads through digital and traditional marketing platforms.
- Manages and organize trade shows and seminars in Europe
- Manages social media accounts and campaigns to build brand awareness
- Monitors and improves local websites
- Coordinates the planning, designing, executing, analyzing and optimizing SEO performance in the region
- Monitors performance of digital marketing campaigns to key performance indicators (KPI) and Return on Investment (ROI) metrics
- Coordinates the localization of Vision Research sales collateral for Europe.
- Uses and expands customer database incorporating refined segmentation for more focused and effective targeted marketing efforts
- Analyze market trends and competitors’ methods
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business or communications.
- 2 years’ previous experience as a marketing associate, marketing assistant, or related position
- Significant experience with marketing automation tools, CRM systems (e.g., Pardot, salesforce)
- Superior computer skills, including Microsoft Office suite, marketing technology applications such as web analytics and Google Ads
- Up to date on latest industry trends; able to articulate trends and potential clearly and confidently
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to think strategically and analytically, with the versatility and agility required in a fast-paced, high performance work environment
- Comfortable working in cross functional, multi-cultural teams and a multi-national organization
- Willing to travel 10%-15% including overnight and internationally
