Marketing Business Planner for the Home Entertainment & Sound team

For the Benelux Marketing team, located in Hoofddorp, we are looking for a Marketing Business Planner. This role is an ideal step-up for commercial and analytical thinkers to grow your career. You will be joining a young and dynamic team that is responsible for both the Dutch and Belgian market for Sony products in the consumer electronics area.
Job Purpose
In the job role of Marketing Business Planner you are responsible for the forecasting and sell-thru management for the assigned product categories.
Your main stakeholders are your direct colleagues in Marketing, Product Managers and Marketing Managers as well as the Sales department and the Supply Chain team.
You will secure and optimize the account-wise demand for the HE&S products within the marketing strategy that is defined by the Benelux and Pan-European Product Marketing team.
To secure Sony’s sell-thru, you make sure to have the best in class forecast accuracy and optimal country-and account wise allocation.
You also support the follow-up and actual ranging, stock and sell-thru reporting and are the key driver of the complete End-Of-Life product transition within Benelux countries.
You work closely with the Product Managers in the team and report directly to the Marketing Manager (Benelux).
Your Key Responsibilities
- Forecasting lead; Manage the local product and account wise forecasting and support Product Managers
- Account wise model ranging follow up with Sales and Marketing department
- Rotation monitoring versus Budget planning
- Reporting of weekly Sell-out progress
- Support the Supply Chain team in optimizing the sales potential
- Leading the End-Of-Life product transition
- Analyse sell-in & sell-thru trend, product-account allocation and the required reporting
- Online ranking analysis (together with sell-out/ Online out of stock monitoring and market analysis)
What is Sony looking for?
- Bachelor or Master’s degree in economics, business (administration), marketing or sales related
- Commercially driven with good analytical and communication skills
- Proactive and with entrepreneurial mind set
- Ambitious and with professional appearance
- Knowledge of consumer marketing / supply chain is desirable
- Excellent knowledge of English and Dutch spoken & written
