ThriveDX is looking for a Marketing Automation Manager to lead our marketing automation team and efforts. You will be responsible for the day-to-day operational management of real-time marketing automation for all of our programs and partners. Working closely with the various Marketing functions (Content, Design, Technology, Strategy), you will ensure operational excellence and the continuous improvement and implementation of processes, tools, training, and deliverables to support demand generation efforts. The ideal candidate will need proven management experience in a highly dynamic and multiple brand setting.
As an innovative and data-driven automation and email marketer, you understand how to apply tools and best practices to marketing processes and campaign workflows, crafting automated programs that drive engagement and achieve business goals. You'll work closely with leadership to strategize and develop long-term plans that foster new levels of productivity and success of ThriveDX.
Preferably, this person has up-to-date knowledge of the Pardot marketing platform and capabilities across various marketing and digital platforms (CRM / Attribution / Email / SMS / Marketing Ops).
Major Responsibilities
- Initially, you will manage the build and implementation of campaigns and all associated assets such as data segments, forms, and third party integrations and develop an automated marketing team.
- Help define and drive our email marketing strategy and advocate for successful best practices within the organization, including triggered marketing, drip campaigns, reactivation campaigns and subscription management.
- Help define and drive our SMS marketing strategy and advocate for success best practices within the organization, including running effective campaigns and tracking the results of these campaigns.
- Establish, maintain and optimize scalable internal marketing automation processes that use best practices for campaign management.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to lead all aspects of design, QA, execution, monitoring, and optimization of customer journeys.
- Deliver high quality campaigns that increase the response rates, engagement, pipeline, and ultimately performance.
- Oversee timely execution of high quality, personalized targeted emails, with the skills to also help with development.
- Continuously drive improvements in our email communications through ongoing testing of design, content, calls-to-action, landing page quality, audience management, and more.
- Monitor and interpret program performance on an ongoing basis and produce regular reports, with insights and recommendations for improvement.
Skills and Experience
- Degree in Marketing or relevant field.
- 3+ years' experience in a medium-to-large scale direct marketing or email marketing role, preferably in an e-commerce environment
- Expertise in email and marketing automation platforms (specifically Pardot) as well as SMS marketing tools (specifically SMS Magic)
- Expertise navigating CRM platforms and associated marketing objects and reports (specifically Salesforce)
- Expertise working with project management tools (such as JIRA) to collaborate on ongoing tasks and projects
- Comfortable building and modifying existing HTML email templates with an emphasis on mobile and responsive design
- Proven experience in a high-performing team and training others in email marketing best practices and tools; desire to or experience with leading a team
- Strategic problem solver with a data-driven mentality focused on identifying key opportunities and avenues for growth
- Ability to see the big picture and develop a long-term roadmap and strategy, while also being comfortable in the weeds, tackling all aspects of a project hands-on
- Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to remain collaborative and positive in a fast-paced, demanding environment
- Demonstrated ability in working with data and A/B testing, including standard email engagement and web analytics tools (such as Google Analytics)
- Passion for excellence with a proven track record of driving results
Preferred Competencies
- Specialist and/or Consultant certifications (preferred)
- Experience working in the education industry
- Experience in multi-brand organizations
- Proficiency in Salesforce, Google Analytics, and business intelligence tools
- Proven ability to develop innovative solutions for increased productivity
- A natural self-starter, with an entrepreneurial attitude and ownership mindset
- Masterful organizational, communication, and leadership skills
- Ability to communicate with various business units and stakeholders across the company

Hiring Process
- The initial conversation will be a zoom interview with a member of our talent acquisition team for 30 minutes.
- Followed up by a 60 minutes zoom interview with the hiring manager
- A final zoom interview with the department head
