Activities & tasks include (all or part of the following, depending on the eventual size of the appointment):
- running general front office tasks, such as adding content to the website, handling emails arriving in the general mailbox (e.g., answering questions, forwarding specific requests to the relevant CLARIN representative(s) or other staff members);
- preparing of the logistics of virtual and physical meetings;
- collecting information for management overviews and memos, and digital archiving;
- managing mailing lists and registrations;
- supporting committee meetings (agenda preparation, minute taking, etc.);
- supporting the layout and production of printed material.
Our team works in a hybrid office with short lines of communication and flexible working hours, and the possibility to work remotely for short periods of time (in mutual agreement).
Profiel For this position we are looking for someone who would bring in:
- skills that guarantee effective communication in spoken and written English and working knowledge of Dutch;
- familiarity with Office 365 tools, html editing (in Drupal environment, including CRM experience) and other relevant digital tools (e.g., tools for events virtualisation such as Zoom, MS Teams);
- experience with Mailchimp is a plus.
- higher education background (BA level or higher);
- experience in a management support function embedded in a service-oriented organisation;
- hands-on mentality, an eye for detail, a pro-active attitude and capability of balancing flexibility and stability;
- capacity to work effectively under pressure, deal with interruptions, and prioritise workload;
- curiosity and interest in working in an international environment.
Aanbod
We offer a temporary position (0,7 - 1,0 FTE) for one year in an international working environment. The gross salary - depending on previous qualifications and experience - ranges between €2,812 and €3,764 (scale 8 according to the Collective Labour Agreement Dutch Universities) per month for a full-time employment. Salaries are supplemented with a holiday bonus of 8% and a year-end bonus of 8.3% per year.
