Position Summary:

The Design Engineer is responsible for introducing new products and continually improving upon existing product designs all while ensuring quality exceeds expectations.

The Design Engineer will ensure all products are designed to specifications and work with product development team members to make any design changes necessary to ensure products are aligned with our Mission, Vision, and Core Values.

A successful Design Engineer will work quickly and efficiently with strong problem-solving and design skills all while managing multiple projects at once.

Duties Include:

• Design & Engineer Fall Protection & Safety Products.
• Manage Projects with international vendors, engineers, and testing facilities.
• Provide technical data for product manuals, labels, and other materials.
• Constant Improvement of Quality Process and return rates.
• Manage & Maintain ISO 17025 Test lab.
• Manage 3rd Party Quality Inspections.
• Documentation Control.
• Provide Technical Support to internal & external customers.

Requirements

• CAD & Design Experience.
• Detail-Oriented.
• Ability to communicate with customers both written and verbal.
• Ability to learn and stay up to date on OSHA/ ANSI Fall protection laws and regulations.
• Ability to lead team of employees.

Education/ Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Industrial or Manufacturing Engineering or comparable work experience.
• 2-5 years of experience in Product Development & Design with a strong understanding of manufacturing and engineering processes.
