We are looking for our next Maintenance Technician.

Who we are looking for.

We are not just another Property Management company, and therefore we don’t hire just anyone to work with us and our residents. We take great pride in owning, managing, and improving our apartment communities, and we are looking for an experienced Maintenance Technician will do the same. Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, this person will be responsible for doing a wide variety of maintenance tasks associated with their assigned properties. This includes day-to-day preventative and repair related tasks, completion of larger projects, and readying units for move-in upon move-outs. Type of maintenance work may include basic electrical, plumbing, carpentry, masonry, HVAC, painting, grounds maintenance/light landscaping, weather-related grounds tasks, and cleaning. This may be inside or outside of resident units, so the ability to work in professional manner around clients is imperative. Aside from the regular weekly schedule, this position will also periodically be responsible for 24 hour emergency maintenance/”on-call” coverage on evenings and weekend.

In general, candidates should minimally have the following to be qualified:

· High School Diploma or GED Required.

· Previous, demonstrated skilled-trade/maintenance abilities and experience in most of the skill areas listed above (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, etc.)

· Valid Driver’s License (MVR check will be run because of company vehicle use requirement)

· Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and effectively without the need for close supervision.

· Able to multi-task and complete several projects in an organized manner.

· Demonstrated to interact in a professional, mature, and appropriate manner with other members of staff, residents, and all others as required in the course of completing job duties.

· Physical requirements: Must be able to lift up to 60 pounds. This position may require many physical duties at any time including standing, reaching, bending, climbing, kneeling, etc.

· Work hours: Reasonable and balanced. Generally M-F, 7:30 - 4, with on-call required monthly.
