As a Maintenance Planner, you will develop job plans following site and production area needs using the Maintenance Work Process, job plan archives, equipment history, maintenance procedures and technical information! You will report to the maintenance leader, this job is an onsite position at our Delaware, Ohio Manufacturing facility.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work with Operations Maintenance Gatekeeper(s) to prioritize planning of work orders.
  • Prepare job plans observing the Site Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) and Business rules.
  • Use the (CMMS) Job Plan archive to collect job plans details and supporting information.
  • Before developing a detailed job plan the Planner searches the archive for existing plans that can be re-used updated or modified to suit work order needs
  • Perform planning field checks observing the complexity of the work order.
  • Prepare work order cost estimates for approval.
  • Ensure Job Plan Packages include the needed documents in printed and electronic form for Maintenance Technicians reference and use.
  • Receive Job Plan evaluation feedback and lead planning process improvement.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 3 or more years of previous maintenance experience
  • 3 years’ experience in manufacturing
  • And the ability to give technical guidance to other team members.
  • A team player with obvious enthusiasm, initiative, and pride in work.
