The Lead Picker is the first line supervisor for the Warehouse Pickers ensuring all tasks in Warehouse are being completed in a timely manner.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Assign pallets to Pickers
• Help assist in loading draft, bulk, service and on premise routes in an efficient and accurate manner
• Assist in building Hot shot/Dock orders when needed
• Assist in the use of the shrink wrap machine when necessary
• Remove packaged beer returned on route trucks and place product in proper location
• Certify ending inventories from draught and/or package trucks
• Notify Operations Manager of any shortages, overages or discrepancies
• Assists with truck stripping when needed
• Assists loading special event or drop trucks
• Performs forklift safety inspection and fills out checklist
• Verifies the proper rotation of product on a daily basis
• Checks proper row identification for accuracy on a daily basis
• Operates company equipment in a safe manner
• Assists driver salesmen with reloads and unloads
• Assists in any necessary warehouse tasks assigned by the Operations Manager
• Uses company equipment in a safe manner
• Unload transports when necessary

Qualifications, Knowledge/Skills and Abilities: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily, including the following:

• Ability to appear at work as scheduled, mindful of the company’s attendance policies
• Ability to follow instructions and accept direction from supervisors in a respectful and collaborative manner
• Ability to work with others cooperatively and cordially in a spirit of teamwork
• Ability to read and understand code dates and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
• Must have product knowledge and mathematical abilities to build pallets
• Ability to complete tasks independently
• Must follow all company policies and procedures, must comply with State beverage regulations and safety program
• Must be adaptable to change

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Must be able to obtain an alcohol license from Oklahoma ABLE Commission

Physical Demands: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to reach, climb or balance. The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, sit, use hands, talk and hear. The employee is occasionally required to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must constantly lift and/or move 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 171 pounds. The employee must occasionally pull and/or push up to 1,500 pounds on a loaded 2/4-wheel hand truck on uneven surfaces and up delivery ramps.

Working Conditions: The employee is regularly exposed to outside weather conditions. The employee is frequently exposed to extreme cold in coolers. The noise level is moderate.
