Lawn Crew Leader

This position serves in operational tasks of a fully functional sawmill and lawn service. Job may vary from day to day. Position is full time Mon – Fri from 8-4:30, with occasional Saturday work as needed. Paid sick and vacation time after one(1) year of continuous employment.

Daily activities to include:

Lead crew of 1 or more people

Drive truck and trailer for daily assigned route

Assisting with general inventory upkeep

Ensure that jobs are completed in a timely manner

Ensure that jobs are completed to company standards

Operating resaw and moulder/planer

Operating mowing and trimming equipment

Interacting with mill and lawn service customers

Trimming bushes

Installing mulch

Equipment maintenance

Regular cleaning of work area and equipment

All other duties as assigned

Must have:

Previous experience operating commercial lawn equipment

Supervisory experience

Experience driving truck with trailer

Reliable transportation to and from work

Ability to pass drug and background screening

Ability to regularly lift more than 50 lbs

Ability to occasionally lift up to 100 lbs

Preferred:

Previous experience supervising others

Knowledge of pest and weed control

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $16.00 per hour
