Lawn/Snow Maintenance Foreman

Reports to: Operations Manager

Job Description:

Master Mowing LLC is an established lawn care, landscaping and snow removal company servicing both commercial and residential clients in the Greater Lansing area. We are currently looking to hire hardworking and reliable employees to fill our open positions for the upcoming season.

The lawn/Snow Maintenance Foreman is responsible for organizing the efficient completion of their daily routes, tasks and management of their crew(s). The foreman is responsible for completing mowing projects with precision and business minded efficiency.

Essential Functions:

• Follows the direction of their supervisor
• Direct activities on the job site: coordinate workflow, hands-on work, operating machinery
• Manage personnel effectively and efficiently
• Communicate with crew, supervisor, and clients
• Train subordinates in the proper mowing practices
• Accountable for all tools, equipment, and machinery
• Track and record all job activities and expenses
• Maintain a clean and safe and orderly work site at all times, including work vehicles
• Ensures all work is performed in accordance with company standards
• Be mindful of the cost of each project
• Ensures job site(s) and crew(s) are in compliance with safety regulations
• Responsible for day-to-day operations of mowing crew
• Report all equipment repairs/maintenance to supervisor
• Attend staff meeting

Job Requirements: * Knowledge of proficiency in the operation of power equipment

• Discipline and stamina to perform physical work
• Excellent attention to detail and constant job site vigilance to avoid careless mistakes
• Ability to work in all types of weather conditions
• Desire to learn and grow with the company
• 3+ years of lawn mowing and snow removal experience
• Preferred higher education/training in lawn maintenance, snow removal and the landscaping/hardscaping industry
• Preferred CDL, minimum of a Chauffeurs License, and a valid medical examiners certificate
• Excellent time management skills
• Clean and professional appearance
• Punctual and dependable

Job Type: Full-time

Required experience:

• lawn mowing: 3 years
• Snow removal: 3 years

Required license or certification: * Clean Driving record and Drivers License and Chauffeur's License or willingness to obtain.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $26.00 per hour
