Nature and aim of the position
An exciting opportunity to join the Global Blue BeNeLux Commercial team to help achieve our company vision. The Account Management team are successful, fast-growing and influential. They are responsible for the retention, management, and growth of the current portfolio of accounts that work with Global Blue to provide Tax Free Shopping services to their consumers.
In this role you are responsible for achieving sales objectives by managing and developing an assigned merchant portfolio selling a range of Global Blue Products and Services including – Financial Services: Tax Free Shopping (TFS), Currency Choice (DCC) and Retail-Tech: Yocuda, ZigZag and Toshi.
The Key Account Manager will play an important part in driving Global Blue products and services with a defined portfolio of senior partnerships. The holder of this position is responsible for Account Development products including – Omnichannel Products, Marketing Services, Business Intelligence and Training Programs at both clients Head Office and Store level. In conjunction the Key Account Manager will be required to attract and gain new Business Accounts.
This is what you will be doing
  • Builds strategic relationships with Key decision-makers for new and established accounts
  • Delivery of new business targets and cross selling of products & services to existing accounts
  • Achievement of Budget targets with hunting mentality
  • Conducts presentations to customers executives and decision-makers
  • Provide leadership and direction with clear communication to the sales team and to drive technical solutions and integrations for payment and tax-free solutions
  • Report to the Company all significant competitor activities and market trends
  • Accurate use of CRM (Salesforce) to plan, record, and report account specific activity
  • Action plans and store visits in line with company segmentation model
  • Play an active role in the account management team to identify team opportunities and share new initiatives
What do we ask from you
  • Ability to shown success and experience in leading customers and achieving genuine sales development
  • Building key strategic relationships and actions plans for our customers
  • Strong communication skills: you are very experienced in building and maintaining great relationships with people outside and inside the organization
  • Excellent negotiation skills and a track record in negations of margins and agreements with customers
  • Technically skilled and able to assist the execution of software or infrastructure deployments and service transition activities
  • Able to give presentations confidently and effectively
  • You have an entrepreneurial mindset: spotting opportunities is one of your strongest talents
Experience
  • Experience working in a retail/luxury or financial services environment in a sales related position
  • 2+ years’ experience of account management ideally in Retail (-tech), Financial Services or FMCG
