Proactive / Independent / organizer

As a Junior Sales Representative you will support the South America region from our head office in Enkhuizen. This will concern Enza Zaden Brazil, our Region Manager and Area Manager. You will be responsible four our sample shipments and ensure that they are sown on time. Receiving the results of our trials and processing them is also part of your activities and you maintain close contact with the breeders about this. You will have contact with our Portfolio Management department when it comes to issues from the market, and you will find solutions together. Other responsibilities are checking the availability from our seeds for spot orders and the associated contact with the Customer Services department. Also, you will collect market information together with the sales managers like market shares, market demands and new variety introductions.

In short, you are a very good organizer, planner, and communicator. You are proactive and the eyes and ears of our department. You are the contact person in Enkhuizen for South America, you find solutions independently and thus support our South America team.

To maintain good contacts with your target group, you will travel 25% of your time to South America.

You have a bachelor’s degree in the field of agriculture or economics, and you have at least 1 year of relevant work experience. Your English is excellent in speech and writing. Mastering the Spanish language is important, if you are not yet proficient in the Spanish language, you must be prepared to learn it. You can communicate well at any desired level, and you adapt easily to different cultures. You are very pro-active and our Region Manager, Area Managers and our customers can rely on you to get things done for them. You see work and pick up what is necessary. You can work very well independently but know where to find your team when needed. You are flexible and contribute to a pleasant working atmosphere through your positive attitude.

In short, you:

• have a bachelor’s degree in the field of agriculture or economics;
• have at least 1 year of relevant work experience;
• communicate excellent in English at any desired level;
• speak Spanish or are willing to learn it;
