The role of the Inventory Manager is to manage the company's parts inventory for multiple locations. Maintains the highest quality standards of professionalism in serving the customer and identifying their needs.

Job Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and execute all OEM ordering and shipments with project schedule.
• Assesses present and future needs, trends, problems and profit opportunities of the Parts Department.
• Ensures that approved policies and objectives are clearly understood and effectively applied within the department.
• Maintains appropriate communication within and between all departments and corporate office.
• Promotes safe work habits and ensures that safety rules are followed.
• Develops and maintains policies and procedures which will ensure positive customer relations and inventory accuracy.
• Stays familiar with the activities of competition, market conditions and department operation.

Ideal Candidate:

• Previous automotive, transportation, or heavy equipment dealership experience.
• Requires thorough knowledge of all phases of the parts department.
• Must display excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Demonstrate excellent organizational ability. Attention to detail is a must.
• Must have positive can-do attitude and willingness to be a team player.
• Must have strong work ethics and commitment to extra hours when needed.
• The successful candidate must pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience.
• Must hold a clean and valid driver’s license.
