Inventory Control Specialist
Job description
We are seeking a detailed oriented, analytical Inventory Control Specialist. This role will verify and reconcile inventories of customer product and be a liaison between customer and operations as needed.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in all physical inventories
- Direct and authorize department cycle counts on a scheduled basis
- Verify and reconcile discrepancies
- Analyze data and discrepancies for root cause of issue
- Maintain reports and cycle count data
- Audit inventories and locations
- Coordinate between customer and operations on physical inventories
- Ability to travel to warehouse facilities either in the Baytown or Pasadena area
Skills:
- Professional communication skills; verbal and written
- Detail oriented, organized, analytical
- The ability to problem solve
- The ability to work in fast paced environment and work well under pressure and time constraints
- Ability to multi-task
- Strong data entry skills; accuracy
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, specifically proficiency in Excel
- Team Player
- Ability to operate a forklift is a plus
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED
- 2-3 years of warehouse experience (3PL a plus)
- Experience with cycle count and inventory control
