Working from home is possible and when we work at the office it will be mostly at the KPN offices in Amsterdam (Teleportboulevard) and once a week in Rotterdam (Wilhelminakade).

Jouw rol als

• Scouting investment opportunities, screening of investment requests and business plans • Research and analysis on markets, industries and companies • Coordination of the overall investment process through the maintenance of our workflow in our deal flow system • Supporting in due diligence, the preparation of investment proposals, fund reporting and other documentation • Providing overall support to the investment process and portfolio management process • Supporting internal and external communications and organization of events

Wat breng jij ons

Academic (WO) level, preferably with a business/finance or a technical background with above average academic achievements Experience in and/or affinity with (digital) technology/innovation management, business development and entrepreneurship • Basic understanding of digital technology, preferably in the segments; telecom, internet of things, digital health, cyber security & networking technology • Practical team player, analytical, self-starter, strong communicator, and result-oriented • Fluent in English; knowledge of Dutch language is a plus, but not required

Wat krijg je ervoor terug

An internship allowance of EUR 500,-; A laptop; Working together with a very energetic and motivated team; Internship for a minimum period of 6 months (start date is flexible); Access to an international broad network, both internally and externally at KPN These conditions are part of a full-time internship of 40 hours.

With 6 investment professionals, the KPN Ventures team has a multidisciplinary set of backgrounds that scouts, selects and executes investments in the growth areas like; internet of things, smart home, digital health, cyber security & networking technology. Next to that, the team guides portfolio companies, supporting entrepreneurs in creating value and building their businesses to reach their full potential.
