Successfully generate new business

You will acquire new customers in the Benelux region. Owning the full sales cycle, collaborating with internal teams, supporting lead-generation, technical qualifications and demonstrations. Your primary responsibility is to build pipeline and uncover new opportunities.

As an Inside Sales Representative, you will be responsible for:

• Prospecting and acquiring new customers.
• Generating new business through to contract negotiations to ensure customer satisfaction and adoption of Akamai technologies.
• Maintaining sales pipeline, accurate monthly and quarterly forecasting. Managing contract renewals for your install base.
• Working with integrated cross-functional teams to ensure your customers realise the value of their Akamai services.

To be successful in this role you will:

• Show proven experience of being a hunter. You will be persuasive, influential and professional on the phone, social media, email and other collaboration tools.
• Have a passion for technology and cybersecurity solutions.
• Have a verifiable track record of success and goal attainment in a sales-oriented role.
• Have experience in an Inside Sales prospecting role or customer facing role.
• Demonstrate excellent communication skills and be able to present to various stakeholders.
• Have experience of meeting daily, weekly and monthly targets, and proven consultative sales skills and quota achievement.
• Must be fluent in Dutch
