At our division Air& Sea, location Schiphol we are looking for a:
Inside Sales Airfreight
For our location in Rozenburg (Schiphol), we are looking for a new commercial colleague for the sales team. Together with your colleagues you will be proactive with the requests of existing customers and international colleagues, process them quickly into a tailor-made offer and maintain close contact with customers.
At Incheonweg 17 we are active with the organization of import, export and healthcare shipments, using air freight. With regard to these shipments, customers request rates, tenders are issued and/or RFQs are sent to the department. In consultation with the team this will be taken care of and followed up.
As Inside Sales Airfreight you have proactive contact (by phone and email) with the customers in the Netherlands. As mentioned before, you also keep in touch (in the same way) with your international colleagues who need airfreight rates. You will process the requests, formulated quotations and quotes in the internal system. You will proactively pass on new leads to your colleagues in Outside Sales.
In this commercial role, it is important that you are enterprising, not afraid of a challenge and above all have interest/knowledge in air cargo. You are a professional discussion partner for your customers and colleagues. Your positive energy and excellent communication (in Dutch and English) is very welcome. But above all your knowledge/experience of airfreight and incoterms is most important.
Other tasks in your function are:
- Registration & follow up of sales leads, quotes and offers;
- Maintaining contact with relations (existing customers);
- Searching for solutions in the field of global transportation.

- At least a completed commercial or logistics MBO (level 4) education;

- Good up-to-date knowledge and experience with incoterms and sea freight;
- An easy talker, team player and a social personality.
