The Assistant is a supporting role to the Hub and Juice Ingredient Department Food Safety Team, This position would directly report to Food Safety Manager.

Responsibilities would include: Assist with Ingredient Department

· Product Sampling and Labeling

· Lab Sample Pick up scheduling

· ATP Testing

· P.A. Log

· Metal Detector Log

· Freezer Logs

· Batch Sheets

· Brix Testing and Logging

· P.H Testing and Logging

· Juice Temp Logs

· Labels

· Assist with Repacks

· Pallet Tag/Label Verification

· Weight Checks

· Inventory of supplies

· Special projects as assigned

Responsibilities would include: Assist with Hub Food Safety

· Daily Inspection sheets

· Rodent Trap monitoring

· Trailer Inspections

· Load Inspections

· Packing Line Inspections

· Assist with any 3rd party Food Safety inspections

Qualifications:

· High School Diploma Required

· 1 - 2 years clerical, or data entry experience

· Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel. Word, and Outlook

· Working knowledge of office equipment - printers, phones, scanner machines

· Excellent organizational skills

· Excellent interpersonal skills with strong written and verbal communication skills

· Attention to detail and problem-solving skills

· Basic knowledge of agricultural work environment a plus

· Ability to be a team player and model teamwork

· Must be able to work full time hours, plus overtime as needed

· Valid CA license and clean driving record

Physical Requirements

· Position could be exposed to both indoor and outdoor environments, but is primarily an office environment

· Ability to lift 40 pounds
