The Head of Performance Marketing owns the strategy, implementation, and operation across all performance marketing / digital sales channels (SEA, SEO, Display) to drive growth for the eCommerce business globally. Leading the development of strategies and reactive initiatives to drive top line growth, customer acquisition and traffic are main responsibilities. This role collaborates with the complete global digital marketing ecosystem to accelerate the benefit of growth initiatives and optimization programs. The Performance Marketing Leader will identify key marketing trends, emerging technologies, evolving best practices, competitor activity and testing opportunities to guide the regional functions to increase their digital sales.
The role reports to eCommerce Sales Director. The ideal candidate is a growth creator, team leader, marketing technology expert, data driven, collaborator with deep understanding of performance marketing and eCommerce.
- Lead the acceleration of the Miele owned and operated eCommerce business through paid performance activities while ensuring healthy growth measured via traffic, sales, RoAS. Act as a consultant to regional functions by providing recommendations.
- Build up a strong team and develop our people by helping them achieve their personal development objectives and ambitions. Create an environment where people can do their best work and grow.
- Identify growth and cost efficiency opportunities in the local markets, monitor results, and lead performance deep dives with the markets.
- Primary source of information for all stakeholders relating to performance marketing
- Create and drive the global marketing technology roadmap to become best-in-class.
- Lead the selection of tools to analyze digital sales performance; monitor and track performance of all global campaigns on all digital channels, including testing, reporting and performance dash-boarding.
- Drive the execution and automation for the monitoring of account health status and best practice implementation.
- Build strong collaborative relationships with cross-functional teams to ensure alignement for Performance Marketing Strategy, KPIs and results.
- At least ten years of experience in Senior Performance Marketing roles, scaling performance and growth.
- Experience in building and managing a team, preferably in global scale and international environment.
- Ability to draw conclusions based on analytic reports and KPIs; in-depth skills in analytic tools (e.g. Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics) and ability to generate insights; extensive knowledge about search marketing trends.
- Top and effective communicator able and comfortable in communicating with various teams, local stakeholders and different levels of seniority. International mindset and fluent business English.
- Business savvy and commercially driven. Have a get-things-done mentality paired with a data-driven mindset. Well organized in a fast-paced environment and accountable to timelines.
- Strong experience working for D2C/eCommerce and a premium brand in consumer, technology or FMCG industry.
- Ideally University degree in business studies, major in Marketing / Digital Brand Management and other relevant fields.
