Job description

We are looking for a GM to oversee our organization's day to day operations. You will be the company's second in command and responsible for the performance of the company.

This is a key role, reporting only to the President of an approximate 40-45 person landscape operation that performs lawn care, landscaping, and snow removal services.

Responsibilities:
-Handle all day to day aspects of the company and oversee/manage the leadership team
-Establish policies that promote the company culture
-Lead and train employees to encourage maximum performance (fill and train roles as necessary)
-Meet with President regularly to determine goals and changes needing to be made
-Ensuring all members of the leadership team work cohesively together for best results
-Manage relationships with vendors
-Improve company profitability and efficiency
-Ensure compliance in all aspects of the company
-Fill in where necessary to ensure operations flow smoothly (sales, management, etc)
-Responsible for ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention throughout the company
-Responsible for ensuring operation runs like a well oiled machine with all work being done on time and at company standards
-Ensuring all departments are keeping up and all important deadlines are met

Requirements:
-Extreme attention to detail, nothing falls through the cracks
-Understanding of business functions such as accounting, HR, finance, marketing, etc
-Experience in management and leadership
-Competency in strategic planning and business development
-Working knowledge of IT/business infrastructure, and MS office
-Fantastic organizational and leadership abilities
-Interpersonal and public speaking skills
-Strong in decision making and problem solving
-Bachelor or MBA in Business Administration preferred

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
