Fleetpro provides Commercial Vehicle Inspections and Preventive Maintenance to the most visible Fleets in the Mid-Atlantic.

The Fleetpro Field Service Technician is responsible for loading and prepping service trucks, driving to customer sites, interacting with customers, performing CVSA, COMAR and DOT Compliant inspections on a wide range of commercial vehicles and equipment, performing preventive maintenance to the vehicles and their sub-components, supervising a technician or apprentice, and completing paperwork.

This position is responsible for a monthly revenue goal and will earn a bonus for meeting the goal.

This position is primarily off-site and will not be assigned to a specific location, which will require extensive travel and exceptional customer focus.

We DO NOT perform roadside mechanic work or do any towing. This is not a sales position.

Preferred Training or Certifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (required); vocational or technical certification in vehicle repair (preferred)
• Specialized training and experience in the diagnosis/troubleshooting of major components (engines, transmissions, differentials), OEM training courses, ASE Certification, and 608/609 certifications (preferred)
• Experience using all tools of the trade (including welding equipment, diagnostic equipment, and hand and power tools)
• Valid CDL driver’s license preferred (must also have or be willing to get an air brake certification)

• The habit of being dependable - regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job;
• The willingness to travel as necessary within the district (customers’ yards, close geographical area, and training sites), work the required schedule, work at the specific location required, complete Fleetpro employment application, submit to a background screening (to include criminal checks, past employment, and education) and pass a drug screening

• While performing the duties of this job, the associate will be required to move frequently, stand, walk, and sit. The associate is frequently required to use hands to touch, handle, and feel, and to reach with hands and arms. The associate must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 50lbs/23kg and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100lbs/45kg.
