Facility Support (Yard Maintenance) Job description

Responsible for

• Yard maintenance will keep all areas of the yard clean of debris, obstacles, materials and supplies to create a safe, clean work environment.
• Positioning and retrieving equipment on the location's property
• Will have experience and training to operate equipment safely and efficiently as needed, (e.g.. Forklift)
• Parking lot maintenance- cleans and maintains a safe parking lot and outlying property
• Perform general laboring duties as assigned and when necessary as instructed by supervisors
• Ability to drive a truck with trailer or plow.
• Heavy Equipment machine operator (preferred)
• Wash incoming equipment & function test equipment
• Ensures that all rental equipment is properly tagged and has the required key
• Handles yard check-ins and check-outs

Skills and Abilities:

• Ability to follow directions and instructions from Supervisor.
• A positive attitude and a willingness to learn.
• Always provide professional customer service.
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced dynamic environment.
• Works well in a team environment.
• Communicates proficiently.

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods of standing and walking.
• Must be able to lift, push, and pull 50 pounds regularly.
• Must be able to climb ladders and stairs.
• Must be able to sit, bend, crawl, kneel, and reach.
• Must be able to traverse worksite in different types of weather.
• Must be able to navigate uneven terrain.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour

• Landscape maintenance: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• Driver's License (Preferred)
