Introduction
Shimano, a leading brand in the cycling industry, is looking to expand its European digital marketing team with an Online Marketing Specialist. We want to play a role in every step of the customer journey. Email marketing and online advertising play a crucial role to continuously inspire our consumers and convert them to one of our solutions on the website. All these activities contribute to our main objective to become the brand of choice.
As online marketing specialist, you are part of the digital marketing team, building and maintaining email marketing and advertising campaigns. You will do this together with our senior online marketing specialist, campaign manager, category marketing managers and other channels specialists. You will report to the team manager digital marketing.
The Challenge
- Able to set up advertising campaigns (both branding as performance) independently or in close collaboration with our agency.
- Manage our always-on search campaigns independently and report on results.
- Support us in building marketing automation campaigns.
- Knowledge of planning and building an effective email campaign together with our partner agency.
- Coordinate and track digital lead generation activities to enlarge our consumer database.
- Identifying the latest trends and technologies affecting our industry.
- Manage relationship with agencies and Shimano colleagues.
What are we looking for?
- Graduated on a bachelor’s degree or higher.
- You have 2-3 years of relevant experience in a similar job.
- Extensive knowledge of at least two of the following: Google Ads, Social Advertising, Email Marketing.
- Google and Facebook certifications are a plus.
- You are a strong team player and love to work in an international environment.
- Structured way of working, multitask and able the manage several projects at the same time.
- You have a data driven mind set and constantly look for innovative ideas to outperform on our KPI’s.
- You have a strong natural curiosity and analytical mindset.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
