Working at NTT

As a Security Engineer you ensure that our clients have a secure and reliable IT environment. You will work on complex projects with a high technical level and focus on Cisco, Fortinet, Palo alto, Checkpoint and F5. Together with your project team you will implement new solutions and execute migrations. You will also create new solutions in our staging area and execute tests in our lab. Furthermore, creating technical designs while combining your security and networking knowledge and substantiate these designs internally and externally is also part of your job. While working for our customers you can work independent and on a project basis. At our office you can exchange your knowledge with our highly skilled and motivated security team.

• Work with our clients to define projects designs and provide recommendations.
• Implement new solutions and facilitate migrations.
• Participate in solving technical issues in collaboration with the support team.

What will make you a good fit for the role?

First, you are a team player with passion for security, who likes working together on client solutions. Furthermore, you have deep knowledge of security solutions and at least 3 years of proven experience in enterprise networking environments or projects. You have strong and persuasive communication skills to clearly explain solution designs to customers, executives, technical or non-technical peers.

Technical

• HBO degree in Engineering or equivalent training with professional experience
• Strong analytical thinking and knowledge of procedures
• Knowledge of routing and switching principles (minimum CCNA level)
• Expert level (security) product knowledge (minimum 2) of Cisco, Fortinet, Palo Alto, Checkpoint or F5.
