Job description
The Special Procedures Tech is responsible for high level disinfection of scopes, maintaining scopes, other unit equipment, supplies and procedure rooms; assists with the transportation of patients to/from the unit; assists RN with patient care; serves as unit secretary and relief scheduler as needed. All work is performed under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN).
Experience
Preferred- Previous hospital or endoscopy experience preferred
Education
Preferred- High School or better
Licenses & Certifications
Preferred- C-ARC-BLS
