Pay: $28.00
Hours: 7:00am - 3:30pm Mon - Fri
The Tester will be responsible for mechanical testing functions including. Will be working with engineers to develop test protocols, designing fixtures, test set-up, running of mechanical tests, data analysis, and writing of test reports. Attn to detail is critical for sample preparation, machine preparation, conducting tests, data logging, maintaining a detailed lab notebook, and sample documentation and archiving.
- Performing mechanical testing using standard procedures
- Organizing, preparing, and documenting incoming test samples
- Assisting to develop new testing approaches
- Summarizing and reporting test data in a clear and concise manner
- Test products or subassemblies for functionality or quality.
- Generates assembly records for system Device History Records (DHR)
- Troubleshoot problems with equipment, devices, or products.
- Maintain a neat and organized work area (5S methodology).
- Perform test protocols for product qualifications.
- Set up and operate production equipment in accordance with current good manufacturing practices and standard operating procedures.
- Separate scrap or waste materials for recycling, reuse, or environmentally sound disposal.
- Support engineering development activities.
- Photographing test setups and test specimens after test completion
- Ability to use a variety of tools and equipment (torque wrenches, hand tools, power supplies, meters, fixtures tooling)
- Familiarity with GMP environment; reading & checking Bills of Materials, schematics, and machine/assembly drawing
