Inland Foundation Specialties (IFS) specializes in construction of deep foundations, pile driving, dewatering, shoring, anchor systems and ground improvement. IFS works in the Pacific Northwest. Travel is a requirement of this job and may require workers to be on the road for 50% to 70% of the year with regular scheduled timed back in Boise.

IFS is looking for drill tenders ready to work hard, travel and acquire valuable skills while working in the great outdoors.

This position has TREMENDOUS growth opportunities for the right candidate who put in the time to learn. Perfect for someone wanting to build a successful career, not just have a job in the construction field. On the job training in equipment operation, welding, and drilling.

Drill tenders provide support and assistance to the driller and other skilled crafts working on the project. Applicants must have the ability to perform physical labor and other strenuous physical tasks; to include frequent bending, kneeling, and lifting & carrying up to 50 lbs.

Candidates with previous with hands-on construction experience such as installing rebar, placing concrete, tending drilling operations, forklift and/or skid steer operating experience is a plus. Pay and position would reflect your previous experience.

Qualifications and Desired skills

• Previous construction experience is a must
• Ability to operate a forklift
• Willing to work long hours
• Valid driver’s license with reliable transportation
• Strong work ethic: dedicated and hard working
• Ability to lift 50 pounds
• Be on physical job site exposed to varying weather conditions

Pay: $65,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
