The Digital Solutions Analyst is Komatsu’s first and primary point of contact for our digital products’ user communities. User communities are made up of Customers, Distributors, Komatsu employees and 3rd party integrators. Digital products evolve rapidly, the user counts grow exponentially, and they are supporting, interacting and disrupting Komatsu’s traditional business (machines, parts and service), meaning the Analyst must understand our industry’s history and expectations and support the introduction of these tools such that they are embraced, rather than resisted, by the user communities. Because digital products are highly integrated, the Analyst has frequent opportunities to cross-train and cross-sell when a user’s need or request can be best met by other parts of the digital portfolio than the user initially expected. When the Analyst encounters unique or recurring challenges, they document and quantify the situation and propose solutions that can be driven back through the digital product development cycle with Komatsu Limited.
Key Job Responsibilities
Manage user community support requests
Administer front and back ends of digital product portfolio
Track and analyze key performance indicators such as enrollments, utilization, revenue and costs
Train on demand and develop technical training content for asynchronous self-support
Enroll users, maintain back-data, provide technical and business support to each segment of the user community
Document bugs and enhancement requests and report on their respective resolution status
Interface with Komatsu Limited and other subsidiaries through after-hours meetings several times per week
Shadow Digital Product Managers for personal development
Qualifications/Requirements
Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree
Qualified work experience may be considered
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Detail-oriented and quality-focused
Motivated to achieve goals and deadlines
Ability to work independently
Interest and ability to work on a wide variety of projects simultaneously
Passion for digital technology and its application to business
Communication, reporting, technical expertise, execution
