Design & Manufacturing support Engineer

Job Description & Skill Requirement:

• Modification and design optimization of existing designs as per requirement
• Create and check drawings/3D models, work instructions, ATP/ATR, CMMs.
• Creation of work instructions/Visual Instructions and identifying the appropriate assembly sequence to minimize the assembly time and cost.
• Creating engineering change orders (ECO)
• Emergency regress lighting system provides illumination of the escape paths and conspicuous indication of the exits to facilitate evacuation in case of emergency.
• Modification of existing B/E lighting systems to meet customer requirements.
• Create Engineering changes for drawing/documentation updates as required. Assign actions in Q-system to respective team members and close EC.
• Work with other design teams in regards to design/documentation assistance for design derived from EEG product line
• Assist production in resolving build issues in floor and make sure issue is resolved in quick time.
• Redlining shop floors, travelers and documentation for short term fix.
• Work with suppliers for new fixtures/ modification of fixtures, select replacement and update required documentation.
• Support team in identifying critical fixtures dimensions for incoming inspection.
• Design test fixtures for production.

Qualification:

• Bachelors/Degree in Mechanical/Related Field
