Job Title: Lead Flexible Extrusion & Design Engineer

Location: 300 N Jennersville Rd, West Grove, PA 19390, USA

Salary: $80k/yr to $90k/yr

Fulltime Direct Hire

The ideal candidate will be able to design continuous extrusion profiles and dies needed to produce those profiles; Have experience with plastic materials; develop extrusion profiles and the materials required to create a product; and balance a die.

Duties and Responsibilities:

· Design extrusion profiles to be extruded PVC, TPE, and other materials as needed for the design.

· Knowledge of dies and calibrator design with hands on experience through product development.

· Understanding behind Material section and knowledge of Material Science in application.

· Oversee the process parameters and quality requirements for the extrusion process.

· Must have experience operating continuous flexible and rigid vinyl extrusion lines.

· Oversee maintenance and upgrade requirements.

· Oversee and train operation staff as needed.

· Identify and enforce safety requirements.

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

· Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Plastics Material Engineering

· Must have knowledge of Plastic Materials and Process Controls.

· Must have extrusion experience.

· Extensive years of hands-on experience may be sufficient to meet this requirement.

· Demonstrated ability to fulfill the General Duties described above.

· Extrusion die design in relationship to extruded materials.

· Understanding of Plastic Material and Process Flows8.Understanding the process of die design

Preferred Skills:

· Solid works 3D CAD preferred.

· Similar 3D and software package may be acceptable.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $80,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
