About us

Loudoun Periodontics is a dental office that specializes in treating gum disease. We also specialize in cosmetic dental surgery as well as placing implants.

We are looking for a personable, outgoing dental assistant for our Periodontal Surgery offices in Purcellville and Sterling. While the position is primarily clinical, staff members in our office are cross-trained to work at the reception desk as well as in direct hands-on patient care in the clinical setting in both offices.

Primary tasks:

Greet patients and answer their questions

Set up operatories as needed for visits and ensure office and operatories are clean and stocked

Assist doctor in examination and treatment of the patient

Schedule patient appointments

Collect patient payments when needed

Confirm all patient forms are complete and entered into electronic record

Take radiographs

Give hygiene instruction

Any other tasks assigned

Qualifications Needed:

Education:High School Diploma Required

Experience: Dental assisting experience preferred. Basic computer skills needed.
